Support my walk in Walk For Wish Kids

I’m walking for Make-A-Wish this April to raise funds that help grant life‑changing wishes for seriously ill kids across Australia.

I’d love your support. Please donate to my page — together we can make a lasting impact and provide hope, joy and inspiration when kids need it most.

Thank you.

Why I’m Walking in Make‑A‑Wish’s Walk for Wish Kids

At the beginning of 2024, I set a personal goal for myself:

Every year throughout the rest of my 20s, I want to take on a fundraiser for a charity that helped me and my family during my cancer journey.
It’s my way of giving back to the organisations that were there for me when life felt overwhelming, scary, and uncertain.

So far, my journey looks like this:

  • 2024 – Canteen’s 63km Paws4Cancer Dog Walk
  • 2025 – Redkite’s HeartBreak to Hope Walk
  • 2026 – Make‑A‑Wish’s Walk for Wish Kids

Each fundraiser is more than just a physical challenge — it’s a celebration of resilience, gratitude, and the incredible support networks that exist for young people facing cancer. These organisations don’t just help patients; they support whole families, offering guidance, comfort, and hope during the hardest moments.

Participating in these events allows me to honour that support in a meaningful way. It’s my way of saying, “Thank you for walking with me when I needed it most.”

But it’s also about something deeper.

I’m incredibly grateful to have come out the other side of cancer feeling strong enough to move my body, take part in these challenges, and experience life in ways that once felt uncertain. Not everyone gets that chance. I’ve met people who have gone through journeys like mine but aren’t able to walk easily or take part in physical activities.

So I walk for them, too.
For their strength.
For their courage.
For their stories that deserve to be heard and honoured.

Make‑A‑Wish has brought joy and hope to so many children facing life‑threatening illnesses. Hope is powerful — it kept me going on my hardest days. Being able to support that for other young people is something that means a lot to me.

This walk isn’t just another fundraiser —
it’s a reminder of how far I’ve come,
who helped me get here,
and the young people whose wishes bring them moments of sparkle in the middle of darkness.

Thank you for supporting me, cheering me on, and helping bring a little more hope into the world. 💙✨
