Ollie’s Story
Ollie’s Story 💛
In 2024, our world changed overnight when our beautiful little boy, Ollie, was diagnosed with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukaemia at just two and a half years old.
What followed was a journey no child should ever have to face, months of chemotherapy, countless hospital stays, blood transfusions, procedures and a bone marrow transplant. There have been moments of unimaginable fear and uncertainty, but through it all, Ollie has remained our funny, cheeky, stubborn and incredibly resilient little boy.
During his treatment, Make-A-Wish granted Ollie’s wish and gave him something incredibly precious: the chance to simply be a kid. His wish gave our family the opportunity to step away from hospitals and treatment for a little while, make beautiful memories together and experience some much-needed magic during an incredibly difficult time.
That is why Make-A-Wish means so much to us. We know firsthand that a wish is so much more than just a wish. It gives children something to look forward to, something to dream about, and moments of joy in a time that can otherwise be filled with fear and uncertainty.
This Halloween, we’re fundraising to help give other seriously ill children the same opportunity Ollie was given, to dream big, make memories and experience a little bit of magic when they need it most.
From our little cancer warrior to every child still fighting: we’re wishing for more magic. 💛
