How it works

Join Make-A-Wish this October by decorating your house, hosting a party or spooking your school.

Sign up and pledge to hold a Halloween fundraiser for Make-A-Wish and add a sprinkle of joy to your tricks and treats while supporting kids facing critical illnesses.

1. Sign up
and choose how you're going to fundraise throughout October.

2. Tell your friends. Share your page and raise funds to support critically ill kids.

3. Celebrate Hallowish in style. The more households that join in, kids that get involved and spook their school, and friends that join your party - the bigger the impact you can have  to help grant wishes for sick kids.

We're here to help you this Hallowish

A young child is dressed in a Halloween costume with black bat wings on their head and face paint, including a spider web design over one eye. The child is smiling widely, showing excitement, and holding a blue pumpkin-shaped bucket for trick-or-treating. Below the child, bold dripping text reads 'SPOOK YOUR STREET,' adding to the Halloween theme.

Join in the fun by displaying a sign outside your house to say you’re supporting Make-A-Wish this Halloween.

Encourage your community to ‘Tap N Treat’ while they ‘trick and treat’ and donate to help make more spooktackular wishes come true!

A playful Halloween-themed graphic featuring a cartoon spider hanging from a thread with large eyes, alongside the word 'Boo!' in a fun font. Several bats with small eyes are flying in the background. Below the imagery, the words 'SPOOK YOUR SCHOOL' are displayed in bold, dripping text, adding to the spooky yet fun vibe of the design. The entire graphic is in black and white, creating a classic Halloween look.
Get your local school involved in the fun!

Encourage staff, students and parents to dress up for Halloween and make a donation. Even a gold coin donation can go along way to help sick kids.

Join in for sick kids like Aroha

In 2016 Aroha’s Halloween plans were interrupted when she was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia at just six years old. Her treatment started right away.

That Halloween, Aroha traded her costume for a hospital gown, and started her first round of chemotherapy. Chemo was tough for Aroha, but she was determined to be a supportive presence for everyone around her.

Last year Aroha's wish for a spooky halloween carnival was granted, thanks to the support of generous people like you. This Halloween you can make a difference to critically ill kids like Aroha by helping to make more wishes come true.

Wish kid Aroha is dressed in a colourful Halloween-themed costume with red makeup resembling doll-like cheeks, black stitches painted on her forehead, and bright red lipstick. She wears a headband with the word 'BOO' on top, enhancing the festive look. The background features a blurred crowd of people, some in Halloween costumes. The scene seems to be at an outdoor event, likely a Halloween gathering, with trees and greenery visible.
