Make-A-Wish® Australia creates inspirational wishes for children with critical illnesses. There are currently more than 900 kids on a Wish Journey - with every donation, we are one step closer to making the wish of every eligible Australian child come true. Thank you for your support.

Bonython Witch’s Lair 2026

Here we go again! We’ve been hosting a Halloween house for about a decade now, but this will be our second year fundraising for Make a Wish!

Due to family and health pressures we will be doing in a little low key this year (the fundraising push, not the decorations). But we would still appreciate your support for this worthy cause that helps kids battling chronic illness and their families to have moments of respite, joy and memory making. As stated last year, we personally know families who’ve received wishes that have meant the world to them as they battle appointments, treatments, therapies, financial stress and the exhaustion of continuous caring and advocating.

This year I’m teaming up with my good friend and colleague Mliette. Together we are the Good Witch of the North (Em) and the Wicked Witch of the South (me). I’ll be doing my usual Halloween haunt and I invite local Bonython residents and community to drop by the Witch’s Lair. Mliette will be hosting her own event on the other side of town, but we are working towards the same goal!
