Day 30

Well its the last day of the challenge and a very slow start to the day as the body is sore, tired and I am looking forward to some RnR.

Below is the last sunrise of the challenge and what a fitting sunrise it was to bring on day 30 of the challenge. I'm currently sitting on around 630K steps with a new goal to get to 650K so going to be a busy night grinding the payment but feeling very proud to smash the 300K goal out of the water.

For anyone looking to join in next year, I highly recommend it as it supports a great cause and you also end the month feeling better than the start.

Well that its folks.... HAPPY WALKING!

Day 24

Just finished sunset / sunrise challenge week and about to cross the 500K step line. My body aches but is thankful for all this activity.

Below is my submission of the sunset I get to see in my own backyard on a clear night...

Day 19

I have absolutely smashed my target of 300K steps which is amazing. I'm now wondering how high I can go...

There is a fierce competition going on in the office and someone told me yesterday they were on team X to win (I will leave out the name). Not going to lie, it slightly hurt but upon reflection it has made me even more hungry to grind the pavement and support this amazing cause.

11 days to go until i can put my feet up! picture of the new runners as my old ones started to fall apart ha!

Day 14

Well despite having a bit of a Sunday session with the boys and watching UFC 300 all day, I managed to hit my goal of 300K steps in just 14 days. Over the moon with the results and looking forward to my final number at the end of the month!

Day 9

Hi Followers.....

Been a bit slack posting here but had a really good weekend hitting the pavement and getting those steps up. This was Sundays result so stay tuned for tomorrow as I plan on hitting a pretty big milestone this afternoon now that the weather is changing.

Anyone who wants to join me for a couple of steps...hit me up!

Day 4

21,846 steps....biggest day by far and found myself still walking in the sand after the sunset.

Going to a little sore so lets hope I can keep this up all weekend.

Day 3

Back home and in my backyard this evening....what a view! wasn't the nicest weather but the waves were therapeutic! 17,110 steps smashed out today!

Day 2

Melbourne decided to test me on day two with 52mm of rain and not many breaks to get some steps in. This was challenging as I don't like to walk within 4 walls and love to be outside

Got a 6am to walk and it was bucketing down so I went back to bed. There was a break in the rain at lunchtime so I convinced a colleague to join me for a walk and managed to go around the block before the heavens opened up again. After work and the last day looking after my parents house, the dog gave me the look so we got out the lead and hit the pavement and somehow managed not to get completely drenched.

Tried to get a decent photo but she just wanted to sniff the whole time with the new smells from the rain...

I was impressed with the 16,976 steps given it rained for a solid 20hrs of the day! Bring on day 3!

Day 1

Well April 1st landed at the end of the Easter long weekend and after a busy few days, I needed to hit the pavement which was tough as I was been a good son and minding my parents house whilst they holiday in Yarrawonga.

Luckily for me they have a dog and let me just say....she definitely deserved her daily nap before it started raining. In fact I don't think I saw her for most of the afternoon / evening.

Day 1 = 17,367  STEPS
