If you were a child with a life-threatening illness but still had a spark of imagination and creativity, how would it feel if someone could make your wildest creation a reality? During the weeks, months, or years of treatment, these kids rarely have the opportunity to simply be kids and enjoy the moments we take for granted. The impact of Make-A-Wish on a young child we knew was remarkable, from the anticipation of the wish coming true to the moment it arrived, and the lasting effect it had on the family and community even after he passed. It gave perspective to the fragility of life and the importance and magnitude of the little things done with great love 💓.
