I’ve been reading race reports. One simply states:
1. Your feet will hurt
2. Your feet will Hurt!
3. Your feet will HURT!
Can you see a big grin on my face? Jane said I’m not a good listener. Perhaps she’s right. On self reflection, I almost never hear anything when she talks lovingly of bags and shoes and chores around the house.
Perhaps I’m very good at filtering out certain signals.
Feet. What feet?
Anyhow, amidst the warm atmosphere called Tết in Vietnamese culture, I think I’ve got everything I need, including legs and knees, even feet, to see the summits of Queenstown again.
Grace from Make-A-Wish Australia has kindly sent me this singlet to wear during the race. How does she know I’m low on running tops?!
