I am lucky enough to be on Fiji this week soaking up all this gorgeous island sun while getting those precious steps in.  It's been an amazing week of stunning vistas, beautiful sunrises & sunsets and the warm welcoming Fijian people, but I am being held accountable to putting in the hard yards even if I may get low key dehydration in this heat!

As well as fundraising we have an in house competition that rewards us with $$ for having the most steps and raising the most money.  My aim is place in both so I can add up to $300 more to the funds donated by my generous friends, colleagues and whanau.

Thank you to those who have kindly and generously given and, if you feel so inclined, I would be so grateful for any donation big or small.

Crying big ol’ ugly tears

Sitting in bed crying some big old tears of gratitude. 

Cos you amazing people got me to my big, hairy, audacious goal on DAY 1. 

DAY 1!!!!!! 

A huge thank you to my wonderful whanau and friends for getting me here so fast! 

You are the BEST!

Day 1 of the challenge and I  am literally $120 AUD away from my reasonably lofty goal.

A huge thank you to those near and far - all over the globe, who have dug into their pockets for this fab organization and the work they do.

I  am blown away by the generosity. Sharing a pic from the first 7km of the day.

It's the smiles for me....

Last year I  raised a little over $1000AUD and this year I  want to do the same because the magic that money helps provide is profound.

The joy, wonder and awe as these kids get to experience, see, touch and be part of their wish is priceless.  The smiles stay with you. 

There are so many phenomenal people tied up in this work who need and deserve our support.
