Support my ride in Ride For Wish Kids

I’m cycling for Make-A-Wish from the 1 – 31 March to raise funds to help grant wishes for seriously ill kids across Australia.

Lachy solo ride 1st April

To and fro daycare 1.5km

Planned bike ride

Our start was a bit slow with Cyclone Alfred in the way but hopefully we can make it up during the April school holidays!

Tyler and Lachy rode along Kedron Brook 30th March

Tyler did 10.5km and Lachy did about half the distance - he got a head start in the car and Tyler rode to starting point on his bike!

3x playgrounds and 1x bmx track along the way - kids done well with their bike ride and Lachy thinks he could ride further!

Lachy solo ride 24th March

6.3km ride - two thirds of Speedy Gonzales' first team ride

Cloudy but humid day post rain with muddy puddles!

Tyler and Lachy rode along Brisbane River 16th March

Trained into the city for this one.

Starting point South Brisbane and rode along South Bank Parklands towards Kangaroo Point. Crossed river at the new Kangaroo Point Green Bridge and rode along Brisbane Botanic Gardens before crossing back to South Bank on the Goodwill Bridge. Snuck in a quick dip at South Bank water play!

All in 7.5km ride.

First Speedy Gonzales team bike ride 2nd March

First team bike ride today Sunday 2nd March with all team members - the Chappells (Tyler 6yo and Lachy 4yo), Ditchburns (Hamish 6yo, Harrison 4yo and Lachy 2yo), and Pardeys (Mabel 8yo, Hugo 6yo and George 3yo).

We rode 9km return from Nicholson Place Northgate to Kidspace Playground Chermside. Fun ride with added fun at the Kidspace playground as well as little playground stops along the way!

I’ve joined Ride for Wish Kids to raise funds to help grant wishes for seriously ill kids across Australia.

Our team is cycling from 1-31 March to help grant wishes, that give sicks kids hope, joy and inspiration. Right now, there are more than 900 children waiting for their wish to come true.

Together we can make a lasting impact and help them discover anything is possible.
