Thanks to our generous Tree Sponsors, 35 Wish children received their one-of-a-kind Christmas tree and were able to experience how special Trees of Joy is, along with the incredible teams who created their trees for them.
About Trees Of Joy
Trees of Joy began with our friends at Make-A-Wish Canada, who first launched the event in 2016. Here in Australia, we hosted our inaugural Trees of Joy in 2024.
In 2025, 35 Wish families attended events in Sydney and Melbourne. From Pokémon to pink bows and sparkles, every tree was as unique as the child who imagined it.
Each corporate team of up to 10 receives a brief ahead of the event with details about the Wish child they’re paired with. Teams then volunteer their time in the lead-up to gather imaginative items to create the perfect Christmas tree, decorated and revealed to all the Wish children at the event.
I don't have the words to express how beautiful, magical, and emotional the whole experience was. Patrick has not stopped talking about it and having the tree in our lounge makes us all smile the minute we walk in there. Our hearts are full, we are so lucky and so grateful. Truly, thank you.

When Quinn wished to fly with a unicorn in the sky, Make-A-Wish set out to make it happen — with the help of an incredible community of unicorn believers!
From discovering the magical unicorn planet at Sydney Observatory to soaring over Sydney Harbour on a Unicorn Patrol, and finally meeting Snowy the unicorn and Queen Rainbow herself, Quinn’s wish was filled with so many joyful moments.
