Don’t forget, you must treat your participation in the MyWish pilot as confidential. As the MyWish app has not been released publicly yet, you cannot share the app, materials or pilot information outside of your family, the Make-A-Wish team and our Wish volunteers. Download to an Android device: Before you start
- You’ll need your child's phone or tablet handy
- You need to have the Google Play app installed on your phone
- You’ll need to be logged in to the same Google account that has the email address you sent to us. The app is not publicly available – we have linked your Google account to the app so you can download it.

How to download to your Android device
Step 1
Head to this link on your phone or tablet to open up Google Play
Step 2
Tap the 'accept invitation' button towards the bottom of the screen
Step 3
Tap the 'download it on Google Play' link to open up the page to download the app
Step 4
Tap the green 'install' button. After a couple of minutes you'll have MyWish installed on your phone!
Download to iPhone or iPad: Before you start

The app is not publicly available, so you will need to download an app called TestFlight first. This will then allow you to download the MyWish app.
How to download to your iPhone or iPad
Step 1
- You will receive an email inviting you to test MyWish
- Tap the ‘View in TestFlight’ link in the email
Step 2
- A screen will appear with a unique code that you'll need to install the MyWish app. Make sure you keep this screen open so that you can copy the code later
- Tap the ‘Get TestFlight from the App Store’ link
Step 3
- The App Store app will open and you will see the TestFlight app. Tap the ‘Download’ button to install on your phone
Step 4
- Once installed, tap the ‘Open’ button
Step 5
- The TestFlight app will open and you will be asked if the app can send you notifications.
- Please tap on ‘Allow’, then tap on ‘Continue’
Step 6
- Tap on ‘Redeem’ in the top right of the screen to open a pop up
- Enter the code we sent you in the email
- Tap 'Redeem' again
Step 7
- The MyWish app will appear on the list of apps available to test. Tap on ‘Install’
Step 8
- Once installed, tap on ‘Open’
Step 9
- The MyWish app will open with a note from the developer and you will be asked if the app can send you notifications.
- Please tap on ‘Allow’, then tap on ‘Next’
Last step!
- Tap on ‘Start Testing’ and then you will be taken to the home screen of the app
- Now you can start playing with the MyWish app! We hope you have fun.
Troubleshooting tips
Android
1. If you see any error messages such as 'try again' or ‘page can’t be found’, check that you are signed into the same Google account you provided to us then try again.
2. If the error message still appears, use a computer instead to open the link, then click the 'accept invitation' button – again make sure you are signed into your Google account. Once you've clicked the button, use your phone to repeat the 'how to download' steps above.
