Riding to help change lives
Following diagnosis of a vaccine injury this year from my 3rd Covid vaccine and being in and out of hospital trying to get a diagnosis of what was wrong really opened my eyes to how much the support around you helps on your journey. Now I would classify myself as one of the lucky ones, yes I was diagnosed with a lifelong auto-immune condition to add to the others I was previously diagnosed but they are all manageable and allow me to live a mostly normal life (I have my bad days) but then you think of those people and especially children with bleaker outlooks than me, and I wanted to do my bit to raise funds for the make a wish foundation which is a wonderful charity helping bring dreams alive for children with not such great diagnosis' and there is so much more I wish I could contribute!I'm taking on Ride For Wishes because...
I'm joining my brothers team in a hope to raise funds for children and their families to have their wishes granted.
I’ve joined Ride For Wishes to raise funds to help grant wishes for seriously ill kids across Australia.
Our team is cycling from 1-31 March to give sick kids hope, joy and inspiration through the power of a wish. Right now, there are more than 900 children waiting for their wish to come true.
Together we can make a lasting impact and help them discover anything is possible.
Thank you.
