I’m joining the 30K Challenge to raise funds to help grant wishes for seriously ill kids across Australia.

Walk #3 - Bar Beach to Nobby’s Beach returned.

Rate: 8/10 

A huge shout out to my brother in-law, Michael for doing this one with me. This was a weekly walk for Michael when he was younger! 

Unfortunately we had early morning fog for majority of the walk. But nevertheless, it was beautiful! 

A nice walk with some incline to really get those legs burning. 
Some very beautiful cafes down at Newcastle beach. Shout to Estabar for the most delicious kombucha! 

Also an even bigger thank you to everyone who has donated so far! Your support means the world to me and is going to make a huge difference to the critically ill children in our area, and wider Aus! 

Walk #2 - Mt Tomaree Summit Walk

What a beautiful day! 
I had my wonderful friend Madie join me on my second walk. We decided to tackle the Mt Tomaree Summit Walk at Shoal Bay. 
After getting there nice and early, we made our way up. There were quite a few people there with the same idea as us. Lots an energetic kids ready to show mum and dad how it’s done! 
The incline was more than I remembered but we were able to get to the top in 20 minutes! A lot of huffing and puffing from me 🙈
I have to say, the view was 100% worth it!!

If you get the chance, definitely give this one a crack over summer. Take some water and pack your swimmers. There are lots of beautiful spots to have a swim to cool off after! 

Walk #1 - Newcastle Foreshore

Rate: 8/10 

Starting at the car park at the western end of Honeysuckle Drive, I very tire down along the foreshore to Nobby’s Beach. 
It’s a very easy walk with some amazing views! I couldn’t believe how quiet the walk was. There are so many restaurants and venues along there that I have never been to so I’ll be back there sometime soon!

Our team of amazing volunteers are hard at work making wishes come true for the Wish Children in area. Its wonderful to see first hand how much of a difference it makes to these amazing Wish Children, their families and their friends.
