Your support to Make-A-Wish will make a world of difference to hundreds of Australian kids with critical illnesses. From the simple to the seemingly impossible, wishes complement medical treatment, working to calm, distract and empower sick children when they need it most. When a wish is realised, a child discovers that despite their situation, anything is possible.

With every donation, we are one step closer to granting a wish for every eligible child in Australia. Together we are giving sick kids hope, joy and inspiration through the power of a wish – thank you for your support!

A WELCOME DISTRACTION

We can all benefit from a welcome distraction at times ...

A friend recently told me that when she is painting, she found it impossible to focus on anything negative. I had to agree !

So often my art students have been amazed at how much fun, and how quickly they relaxed when painting. I tend to think of the creative process and painting as a welcome (and healthy) distraction from our stressful weeks of the daily grind. Which is why I invite you to join in with our beautiful paint and sip event to raise funds for the Make A Wish Foundation to help children with life - threatening illnesses.

Not only will you create your own beautiful masterpiece, but your contribution will help these kids' wishes come true !

The Make A Wish Foundation provides a welcome distraction from the illness and treatment that these kids endure, by giving the kids full, creative control to design their wish journey from start to finish !

So, if you feel like a welcome distraction from everyday stress, come along to our paint and sip to help these kids (and their families) with their much needed 'welcome distraction'.

Cristina Van Loon (CVL Art) is a Gold Coast artist and art teacher who loves helping total beginners achieve amazing results.

Bring along family, friends and colleagues to relax and unwind at the lovely Trance Cafe as Cristina takes you step-by-step through your painting experience.

• Be amazed with what you can create while kicking back with delicious treats and fun people.

• No prior artistic skill required – just relax and give it a go!

• You will be presented with your pre-sketched canvas ready for painting fun !

HOW LONG ARE THE PAINT PARTIES?

These paint parties run from between 2 – 3 hours.
