Bake a Wish
1 Combat Communications Squadron are participating in this years Bake a Wish Charity Event.
By choosing to get together over some delicious treats we are making a difference to the lives of really sick kids.
Many current and previous members of our unit have unfortunately been touched and suffered through the horrific effects Cancer has on us, our loved ones and the ones around us.
Lets do something truly great – lets get together and support each other, be a show of strength and hopefully put some smiles on the children and family members of those battling this illness.
How can you help? For Defence Members come down to AMB FLT Training Room on the 12th March at 1000 H, where we will be set up with the most delicious baked goods that the we can offer and you know they will taste better because they are for a good cause.
From the goodness of your heart bring a plate or two down for sale and/or just come for the food we don’t mind :) and if you aren’t there for the food (looking at all you health F45 challenge nuts) but are there for the support we appreciate you, and you can still make a difference and donate.
Those members that are at the other bases we haven’t forgotten about you and you can still get involved if you wish.
Dig Deep or just flip the couch cushions for some loose change every dollar counts.
Also just FYI if you have forgotten your cash but still want in on the action – the social club tick up sheet will also be available
